The faculty of Pedagogy sets the beginning of the university. Nowadays, it is one of the leading centres of pedagogical science in Bulgaria, combining the teaching and learning process with scientific work of undergraduates and lecturers.
Over 2000 undergraduates from Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia, Izrael, Ukraine and Moldova study there. Tuition is conducted by highly qualified lecturers. The Faculty maintains close connection with similar faculties in universities in Greece, Macedonia, Russia, Albania, Poland, etc.
Graduates successfully find realization in schools and kindergartens in the country and abroad as teachers, directors, specialists in social-pedagogical centres, regional departments of education, juvenile halls and other structures of Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defence, resource centres, special schools, municipal structures. Alumni from the faculty are lecturers at other universities in the country and abroad.
